Personal Care Worker Opportunity
We are seeking three compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team at Bracken House Hostel in Dubbo. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing person-centred care to support residents' individual needs
* Assisting residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meals
* Supporting medication management and wound care (if deemed competent)
* Helping residents maintain their independence and continue engaging in meaningful activities
You will work collaboratively with a supportive team to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or currently working towards)
* A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting the elderly
* Experience in aged care (desirable)
* Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
* Willingness to work various shifts across a 7-day roster
