About the Position:
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting clinical teams in delivering nutritious meals to residents while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Setting up dining areas and preparing for meal periods
* Cleaning and washing dishes according to the Food Safety Program
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of food preparation areas
* Assisting with meal preparation as needed
* Monitoring and recording food safety requirements
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual who has experience in cold food preparation, cutting fruit and vegetables, and making sandwiches.
Apart from basic skills and knowledge, we require:
* Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Digital literacy
* Ability to provide satisfactory background checks and certifications
