About The Role And Where You Will Be Working
This position is located at our Villa Pelletier facility in West Leederville. Our Villa Pelletier facility provides accommodation and support to 40 residents and encompasses design features that are particularly beneficial to residents with mobility challenges.
As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance to clinical and care staff, ensuring residents receive high-quality clinical care. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining clinical quality and risk management programs while fostering a person-centred care approach that supports consumer involvement in decision-making.
We'll Also Be Asking You To
* Support, coordinate and mentor a small team of nurses & health care workers.
* Provide clinical leadership, assess & develop capability of nursing staff.
* Coordinate & oversee admissions, and clinical documentation.
* Prepare budgets & support cost control initiatives.
* Participate in quality improvement programs. Review & update relevant policies / procedures.
* Consult with SCC WA clinical leads & external medical practitioners to ensure best outcomes for our clients.
About You
You are a compassionate and experienced nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care. With a deep understanding of clinical quality and risk management, you ensure best practices are followed while promoting a person-centred approach. Your ability to support and guide care teams, along with your dedication to resident well-being, makes you a valuable leader in aged care.
To Be Considered For This Role, You'll Need
* Current AHPRA registration.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
* Confidence to act in Facility Manager role as required.
* Proven track record in leading & driving quality clinical outcomes.
* The ability to maximise funding via AN-ACC.
* Well-developed reporting & research skills.
* A recognised Infection Control qualification.
