The Front Office Duty Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the resort, providing effective leadership to the Front Office, Housekeeping, and relevant teams.
About the Position
This is a permanent full-time role, requiring rostered shifts that include evenings, weekends, and public holidays. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership to the Front Office, Housekeeping, and relevant teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
* Assist in the induction and training of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Monitor the operation of the property to ensure presentation meets agreed standards and complies with regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Display comprehensive knowledge of property facilities, services, events, and activities, providing exceptional guest experiences.
* Identify, report, and control hazards and risks, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members.
* Develop and prepare detailed statistical reports, providing insights into property performance and informing business decisions.
* Perform physical requirements of the role, including working on your feet and heavy lifting, maintaining a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
