We are looking for a full-time hotel service manager who can manage the multiple branches of our organization (Springfield Central, Annerley, Aspley) with great efficiency and deliver the best outcome for the customers.
Responsibilities
- Respond to requests or complaints made by guests in a professional and polite manner in order to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Implement procedures to improve services offered with the aim of attracting more customers.
- Ensure a focus on quality improvement is maintained and nurtured in all areas of service delivery in consultation with Chefs, Cleaning and staff members.
- Ensure regular food safety audits are completed and non-compliances are resolved.
- Hire and train staff in matters of skilled conduct and ensure that there is enough staff at all times by organizing staffing schedules efficiently.
- Support service personnel with questions posed by guests and take over from the support staff if any issues arise.
- Understand what guest expectations are and anticipate problems in order to prevent complaints.
- Act as a link between guests and the hotel management.
- Attend meetings with management to discuss problems and strategies for improvement.
- Handle cash or payments made by credit card.
- Understand safety and emergency procedures.
- Ensure regular audits in all areas of food and hotel service delivery are completed and to meet food safety standards.
- Contribute to ensuring the required documentation processes are followed and maintain relevant documentation to meet standards.
- Support hospitality staff to provide a flexible range of high-quality food services.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and pro-actively supports employees to increase their knowledge and skills.
