About the Role Joining our Lifestyles (home care support) team, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes and accessing the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required. The successful candidate will have experience in providing support with daily personal activities, community access support and manual handling. To be considered for this role you must be able to commit to a variety of client session times from 2 hours in length between 6am and 10pm within Campbelltown and surrounds. You will be reimbursed 0.99 cents per kilometre travelled between client sessions. Key Responsibilities Ensure client safety, dignity, and person-centred support Assistance with daily living (including personal care) Community access supports Domestic assistance (support with household chores) Maintain and monitor person-centred plans Documenting and progress note keeping Skills & Experience Previous experience supporting people with disability in a home care and community setting Strong verbal communication skills Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Willing to complete basic household chores Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care At Life Without Barriers we consider gender a genuine occupational qualification for this position under Section 27 (2), (c), (e) and (g) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, and so we ask that only Female applicants apply.
