Investment Analyst and Senior Associate
Our client is a well‑known Australian investment manager with a multi‑billion dollar platform. The Private Credit investment strategy includes corporate direct lending, structured finance, real estate, agriculture, and core‑plus infrastructure.
We are appointing two new members to the investment team: one at the Investment Analyst level and one at the Senior Associate or Vice President level, focusing on corporate debt and structured finance, with exposure to other strategies such as real estate and non‑core infrastructure.
In the Analyst role, the primary responsibility will be conducting financial and commercial due diligence on potential investment opportunities. The role offers exposure to the full deal lifecycle, including structuring, financial modelling, documentation, investment memorandum preparation, and portfolio management. The senior appointment will lead transactions end‑to‑end with greater discretion and decision‑making authority.
Responsibilities
* Conduct financial and commercial due diligence on potential investments.
* Structure deals, build financial models, prepare documentation and investment memoranda.
* Participate in portfolio management and ongoing monitoring of investments.
* Lead end‑to‑end transactions (Senior Associate/Vice President level).
Qualifications
* 1–4 years’ experience in restructuring, M&A, investment banking, private credit, or debt advisory for the Analyst role.
* Prior experience in private credit, debt advisory, or investment banking for the Senior Associate/Vice President role.
* Strong track record, a natural inclination toward credit investing, and a meticulous, motivated approach.
* Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and a desire to contribute to a growth platform.
