Job Description
Sensor Operator Instructors are responsible for providing instruction in aircraft/classroom/simulator and/or practical environments. They assist as Subject Matter Experts in development of curriculum for courses as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Conduct scheduled CI led/supported training for Training Device and Systems Training (including briefs and debriefs) using traditional and modern tools.
* Evaluate and document student training/mission performance as required.
* Evaluate and record trainer performance in accordance with established Commonwealth criteria.
* Maintain, assess, and recommend improvements to mission scenarios for effectiveness and currency.
Other Duties:
* Assist in training device testing/evaluation associated with periodic qualification or introduction of new or modified systems.
* Provide academic instruction to include Instructor led lecture discussion for RAN Crew Resource Management (CRM), Instrument Ground School (IGS), etc.
* Assist with training device inspections and qualification programs and other special projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Sensor Operator Instructors shall have a minimum of 500 hours of military flying experience.
Desired qualifications include recent experience as an MH-60R SENSO Instructor or Evaluator.
