Hours per fortnight: 86 (inclusive of 10 hours training time)

About the Program
The Victorian Geriatric Medicine Training Program (VGMTP) delivers a statewide training program focused on increasing the geriatric workforce, enhancing Advanced Training quality, improving equitable access to specialist care, and providing education to those supporting older people.
The FIGM role supports Advanced Trainees across the alliance to ensure high-quality training, with particular attention to trainees based in regional locations. This includes maintaining strong connections with geographically dispersed trainees through on‐site or virtual visits.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Advisory Committee and GVA Committee of Management to oversee trainee support.
* Provide mentorship and educational guidance to Advanced Trainees.
* Ensure high standards of training for trainees in regional locations.
* Maintain connections with geographically dispersed trainees via on‐site or virtual visits.
