Job Role Overview
* This role supports educators in the daily operations of a Kinder environment.
* The Inclusion Support Assistant will work closely with the Kinder team to ensure the smooth running of programs and activities for children with diverse needs.
A successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be proactive, and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment. They should also be committed to ongoing learning and professional development.
The day is spent engaging with energetic children as they explore their surroundings through play-based learning activities. This includes interacting with children who have special needs and supporting Educators to help them make a difference in early education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting Educators with planning, implementation, and evaluation of Kinder programs.
* Assisting with child care and supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities.
* Providing individualized support to children with diverse needs.
* Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or related field).
* Current Working with Children Check (Victorian, Employee) and NDIS Workers Orientation Module certificate.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive and adaptable approach to work.
