About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of our national sales function. You’ll spearhead business development, enhance our market presence, and drive sustainable revenue growth — all while fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
* Lead and execute national sales strategies to drive growth across new and existing markets
* Build and manage a strong pipeline through targeted business development initiatives
* Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships to support retention and long-term growth
* Oversee key accounts, ensuring service excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction
* Prepare proposals and presentations, and lead commercial contract negotiations
* Monitor sales performance and deliver clear, data-driven reporting on pipeline, revenue, and growth
* Mentor and lead a team of Sales Executives to exceed performance targets and KPIs
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Finance to ensure alignment and delivery capability
* Track market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities
About You;
* 5+ years in Sales/Business Development leadership, ideally in the transport or logistics industry
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies
* Strong leadership and coaching capabilities
* Ability to manage and grow key customer relationships at senior stakeholder level
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solution-driven mindset
* Confident presenter, negotiator, and communicator
* Experience with CRM systems and data-driven reporting
