Gami Chicken & Beer is known across Australia for its authentic Korean fried chicken and vibrant dining experience. As Albury's newest and most popular restaurant, we're looking for an experienced and hands-on Chef for immediate start to lead our Back of House (BOH) operations and support the team in delivering consistent quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook food to Gami's brand standards
* Operate deep fryers, grills, and commercial kitchen equipment safely
* Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and allergen procedures
* Manage kitchen prep and stock rotation
* Train and mentor new BOH staff on food handling and procedures
* Maintain a clean and sanitised workspace at all times
* Assist in shift leadership during busy service periods
* Support inventory checks and supplier order processes

What We're Looking For
* Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or commercial cooking environment
* Understanding of kitchen safety, including knife handling and equipment operation
* Proven ability to clean, sanitise, and maintain a safe food prep area
* Certified as a NSW Food Safety Supervision
* Certificate in Commercial Cookery or relevant hospitality training
* Ability to work well under pressure, especially during peak periods
* Strong team leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
* Experience in training kitchen staff and leading shifts
* Valid working rights in Australia (minimum 1 year remaining)
