We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Permanent Modular Construction (PMC) team in Rocklea, QLD. This role is focused on driving front-end business development, expanding ATCO's market presence, and supporting diversification into Sports & Recreation, Energy, Commercial, Industrial, Oil & Gas, Defence, and broader emerging sectors.

What You Will Do
You'll play a key role in generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and supporting ATCO's wider growth strategy. More specifically, you will:
* Drive growth and diversification across key markets including Commercial, Resources (incl. WFH), Oil & Gas, Industrial, Defence, Sports & Recreation, Energy, and more.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client engagement, outbound and inbound leads, and government tender portals.
* Secure new sales for ATCO's permanent modular products while strengthening existing client portfolios.
* Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve commercial targets across Queensland.
* Maintain a deep understanding of ATCO's product offering, market pricing, competitor activity, and sector trends.
* Prepare tenders, pricing packages, and quotations, including design inputs and specifications as required.
* Lead commercial negotiations to ensure proposals meet customer needs and align with ATCO capabilities and commercial strategy.
* Actively participate in internal sales and project meetings, supporting collaboration across PMC, Manufacturing and Design teams.
* Maintain accurate CRM updates, project trackers, and regular reporting of sales activities and pipelines.
* Represent ATCO professionally at industry events, client meetings, and site visits.
What You Will Bring
We're looking for a commercially minded and proactive business development professional with strong relationship-building strengths.
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction, modular, building products, industrial or related sectors.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing tenders, quotes or pricing proposals.
* Ability to identify, target and convert new business opportunities with confidence.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
* Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain a high standard of customer service.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and ability to adopt new systems with ease.
* Willingness to travel across Queensland to service clients and pursue new opportunities.
