About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Corporate Affairs Advisor position at our organization. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality corporate affairs initiatives that enhance our reputation and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
* You will support the delivery of impactful corporate affairs initiatives that drive positive outcomes for our organization.
* Research and prepare timely media releases, briefing notes, Q&As, and other written materials for accurate public communications.
* Create engaging digital content for our website and social media platforms.
* Monitor issues, opportunities, and trends impacting our reputation.
* Contribute to planning and delivery of media and community events.
* Develop and implement communication strategies and plans for diverse audiences.
* Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure alignment between Corporate Affairs and Community Relations portfolios.
About You
We are looking for a skilled communicator with a strong understanding of contemporary media and stakeholder engagement practices. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability and collaboration.
* Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (desirable).
* Advanced writing and editing skills across multiple communication channels.
* Digital and social media literacy, including experience with content creation tools and platforms.
* High-level interpersonal skills for building positive relationships.

* A current C Class Driver's Licence and ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
