**About the role**
For this role you must live in the local area of Roma as it is a small but lovely town where you will be provided with not only a supportive team but community as well Reporting directly to the owner of the business, you will have autonomy in this role and be provided with training & development opportunities. Your success in this role will be determined by your attitude, work ethic and previous experience as an electrician with fire alarm tickets or fire alarm technician experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
As the Fire Alarm Technician your primary duties will be to;
- Inspect, test, maintain and replace electrical / electronic fire safety equipment
- Supervise & train apprentice staff when required
- Carry out any other additional electrical / electronic work
- Maintain high levels of service with customers when engaging
- Embark in further study or education when necessary to improve your skill set
- Adhere to safety standards and safely carry out all tasks to Australian Standards, Codes of Practice and Regulations.
- Forecasting and maintaining stock holdings
- Complete all necessary documentation, including quotation preparation, reports, log books, work orders & JSEAs
**Skills & experience**
- 5 + years' experience working as a Fire Alarm Technician or as an electrician with fire alarm tickets or experience or an apprentice fire alarm technician with 2 years in the trade
- Brilliant attention to detail skills is of high value
- You must have a hard work ethic and be able to work autonomously
- Able to work flexible hours
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team
- Have an Australian Driver's License
