About the Role As an apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you'll gain practical, real-world experience working on precision mechanical systems and industrial equipment. You'll be supported every step of the way while developing the skills to become a qualified tradesperson. You will be involved in: Assisting with installation, assembly, alignment, and dismantling of mechanical equipment Supporting preventative and breakdown maintenance on machinery including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment Learning to diagnose mechanical faults and assist with repairs under supervision Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment safely and correctly Assisting with bearing replacements, seals, lubrication, and general mechanical overhauls Supporting basic welding and spray painting tasks in workshop and maintenance environments Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation About You We're looking for someone who is genuinely interested in mechanical work and ready to build a career in the trade.
