Training Manager Job Description
Are you a motivated and results-driven professional looking to lead a high-performing team of trainers/assessors in delivering exceptional training experiences? We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to oversee our WA training team, focusing on Laboratory Operations and Pathology Collection.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the training team to deliver high-quality training in Laboratory Operations and Pathology Collection
* Oversee course scheduling, trainer allocation caseloads, and student groups/session logistics at the Training Centre
* Ensure training runs smoothly in the WA Training Centre and at client workplaces
* Work closely with the Industry Engagement Team to implement new B2B training programs logically to meet client needs
* Monitor key operational questions, such as balancing student cohorts and trainer workloads, efficient session scheduling, and trainer support/resourcing
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or equivalent)
* OR diploma or higher qualification in adult or vocational education
* OR secondary teaching qualification (with TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024 preferred)
* Demonstrated experience working in the VET sector, including traineeship management and details/compliance requirements of ASQA and RTO standards
* High level of computer literacy and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
