Join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the state's transport network. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll contribute to innovative solutions across traffic signals, road lighting, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and tunnel and bridge control systems.

About You
You're an analytical thinker with a practical mindset, able to turn complex technical information into clear and actionable insights. With a solid foundation in electrical engineering, you bring curiosity, initiative, and a drive to find innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
Your strong communication skills allow you to connect with both technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and understanding across all levels. Educational Qualifications / Licences
* A degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or related discipline) that provides eligibility for graduate membership as a Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia is required.
* A current Driver's Licence is essential.
Special Conditions
* A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
* Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
