Electrician – Cable Manufacturing
The Electrician is responsible for supporting cable manufacturing, assembly, and electrical work while ensuring all systems and equipment are installed, maintained, and repaired safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture and assemble electrical cables including cutting, stripping, terminating, and fitting connectors to specification.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and cable assembly documentation
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
* Perform testing and quality checks including continuity and functionality testing of cables and electrical components.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and assist with repairs and equipment maintenance.
* Operate and set up cable production and assembly machinery where required.
* Maintain accurate production, testing, and maintenance records
* Follow all electrical standards, safety procedures, and company policies
About You
* Qualified Electrician (Certificate III Electrical Trade Qualification).
* Experience with electrical systems, cable termination, and troubleshooting
* Strong attention to quality, safety, and workmanship
* Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
