The Opportunity
This is a critical leadership role within a highly specialised team, focused on advanced data and cutting-edge digital technology solutions.
You will hold primary accountability for driving significant revenue and ensuring successful project execution across the Victorian region. We require a senior qualified who is both a proven Business Development leader (a true \"rainmaker\") and an experienced consultant. This position demands the polish, market network, and technical insight necessary to secure and advise on major client projects involving leading-edge spatial data acquisition and modelling. This is a senior challenge for an ambitious consulting expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure significant Reality Capture opportunities across Victoria, putting you directly in front of key customers.
- Strategic Consulting: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping and consulting on the delivery of complex digital spatial solutions, 3D models, and Digital Twins.
- Team Leadership: Establish, manage, mentor, and develop a talented technical team, fostering growth and expertise.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and manage all project elements, including pricing, timeframes, and quality delivery.
- Innovation: Maintain deep awareness of industry trends and future geospatial technologies, supporting national collaboration efforts.
About You
The ideal candidate will bridge technical authority with strong commercial acumen, capable of positioning solutions to major customers.
- Proven Commercial Success: Demonstrated ability to significantly strengthen client relationships and successfully pursue and close major opportunities.
- Technical Familiarity: Intimately familiar with 3D Reality Capture (e.g., laser scanning, photogrammetry), Geospatial technologies, and Digital Twins.
- Sector Experience: Experience in a consulting environment, ideally within the surveying, engineering, or infrastructure sector (e.g., individuals with a background from firms like Woolpert, Jacobs, WSP, or similar large consulting outfits).
- Foundational Skills: A foundational background in surveying is highly desirable.
- Leadership & Communication: Polished communication and presentation skills are essential, with proven experience in managing and growing technical teams.
