The Asset Management team is responsible for the lifecycle asset management of the complex and critical built infrastructure supporting health services in Tasmania. This involves developing and implementing a Strategic Asset Management System to ensure the delivery of required service levels to consumers, the workforce, and the community.
The Role:
The Manager will implement and apply an Asset Management System to develop and manage infrastructure to meet current and future health delivery needs. The role also provides centralized support to Facilities and Engineering Teams across the state.
You will need:
* High-level expertise in asset management principles and practice, including developing Strategic Asset Management Plans.
* Strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills to research, evaluate, and implement solutions aligning with business objectives.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders such as executives and government officials.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable.
Applicants should note that the selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to twelve months from the date of publication.
Salary range: $139,470 to $148,863 per annum (Pro rata), with an employer superannuation contribution of 11.5%.
* Salary is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 .

Preferred qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
