- previous experience in the furniture distribution industry an advantage

We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative assistant to support the daily operational needs of a large furniture manufacturing and distribution business.
**Primary Roles and Responsibility**
- Provide a superior customer service experience with a positive attitude
- High level administrative skills
- Respond to customer enquiries and action accordingly
- Ensure that requests for assistance are directed to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner
- Perform general typing and administrative assignments including scanning filling, and data entry as and when required
- Maintain a good working relationship with the management and staff
- Handle initial customer inquiries and complaints before passing on further
- Communicate effectively and courteously with all employees and external customers
- Provide clerical support to accounts department and management
- Assist with the ordering of stationery and office items as and when required
- Any other duty as reasonably directed
**To be successful you will need to demonstrate**:
- High level Customer service skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of data and administrative practices and procedures
- Strong knowledge of MS Office programs
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Be a proactive team member with a dynamic and committed work ethic
