Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Ag Service Manager. The position is based in Toowoomba, QLD. The Ag Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the agricultural service department. Key responsibilities include managing service schedules, supervising a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role may also involve maintaining relationships with suppliers and contributing to the overall strategy and performance of the department.
Qualifications
* Strong technical knowledge in agricultural machinery and equipment, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment effectively.
* Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising and mentoring service technicians or teams.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills for managing client relationships and addressing service concerns effectively.
* Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize service requests efficiently.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards in the agricultural or service industry.
* Proficiency in using service-related software for scheduling, tracking, and report generation.
* Previous experience in an agricultural service or mechanical environment is highly desirable.
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical or agricultural engineering, or equivalent practical experience, are an advantage.
