Integrated Product Support (IPS) Engineering Supervisor
About the role
Hanwha Defence Australia is seeking a IPS (ILS) Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing support of our cutting-edge defence solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Lead a team in the development and implementation of supportability strategies and plans
- Manage the design and delivery of integrated logistic support solutions, including maintenance, supply, training, facilities, and technical data
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on supportability requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and optimise supportability throughout the product lifecycle
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of supportability plans
- Mentor and develop the skills of your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or management role within the defence or engineering industries is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in the application of supportability engineering principles and methodologies
- Proficient in the use of supportability analysis tools and techniques
- Robust problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage a team
- To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance up to NV1 (must be an Australian Citizen ). Eligibility criteria can be found at
