**Position Summary - Assistant Buyer**
The Assistant Buyer will be the primary support to the Buyer in the commercial delivery of the R.M.Williams men's and women's collections across our footwear and leather goods categories.
You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business in helping build and evolve product ranges.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide analytical and administrative support to the buying team.
- Effective and accurate management of the product line plan.
- Support Buying team with seasonal Range Review preparation and reporting.
- Supporting general administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Sample management.
- Competitor research.
- Contributing to our evolving product strategy.
- Communicate information effectively to multiple areas of the business.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
We're looking for individuals with a passion for product coupled with an enduring desire to learn and grow to help shape our future success. Skills including a sharp eye for detail and the ability to deliver against deadlines in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success, along with:
- Tertiary qualification in fashion, business or a related field - preferred but not essential.
- 1-2 years' experience in buying/ planning or similar role.
