Assistant Store Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the induction of new team members, coaching the store's team to meet and exceed store targets, and supporting the team with customer query escalations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role, with a proven track record of driving sales targets and KPIs. They will be able to energize and motivate a diverse team, lead from the front, and build rapport with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the induction of new team members
* Coach the store's team to meet and exceed store targets
* Support the team with customer query escalations
* Act as the Store Manager's right-hand person and step up to act as Store Manager when needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role
