ICT Systems Engineer
As a key member of the ICT support team, you will be responsible for the design and maintenance of our department's ICT systems. This includes network services and security, on-premise and cloud server infrastructure, and corporate applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support and experience in Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and Internet Information Services.
You will also be responsible for providing technical advice to ICT management and leadership and assisting in the documentation of processes and procedures as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in ICT administration.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and Internet Information Services.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial progress thereto.

Duties
* Working within a support team, undertake design and maintenance of the departments ICT systems, particularly in the areas of network services and security.
* Provide technical support for the ongoing development and security of the department's network and server infrastructure.
* Provide technical support for the department's data and recovery infrastructure.
* Assist with capacity planning, infrastructure and performance monitoring, reporting and tuning activities related to physical and virtual operating systems, corporate applications, databases and networks.
* Respond to Incidents and Problems and ensure a timely response.
* Provide technical advice to ICT management and leadership and assist in the documentation of processes and procedures as required within ICT Services.
* Participate in the department's change management process.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in the administration of large and complex ICT networks.
* Experience in Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial progress thereto
