Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Switchroom Electricians to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex, high-profile projects across Australia.
About the Role
As a Switchroom Electrician, you will work across the construction, installation, and commissioning of LV and HV switchrooms, substations, and transportable electrical rooms. You’ll be hands-on from build through to energisation, working to strict Australian Standards and CE’s high safety and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, terminate, and commission MSBs, MCCs, protection systems, and associated cabling within switchrooms and substations.
* Deliver compliant switchroom construction including earthing and bonding systems, cable management, clearances, labelling, and environmental protection requirements.
* Work closely with supervisors and engineers to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and schedules.
Key Requirements
* Current QLD Electrical Licence with CPR and LV Rescue certification.
* Proven experience in switchroom and substation construction within industrial or infrastructure environments.
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, safe work practices, and quality assurance processes.
