We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support successful delivery of all engineering activities within the Maritime Navigation Data Systems Program. Day-to-day duties include managing and overseeing the production and delivery of supporting engineering documentation and products/system across the project lifecycle, in accordance with the defined Contracted Data Requirement List (CDRL) and/or agreed engineering deliverables. Ensuring L3Harris IMSA WHS obligations are met. Manage and oversee the safety case that certifies system compliance with contract and regulatory safety requirements. Occasional travel to and from customer sites will be required.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering or Scientific discipline
* Knowledge of Maritime and Naval platforms desirable
* 5+ years of experience practicing in a Senior Engineering position within the Project/Systems Engineering discipline fields
* Experienced in managing a team of engineers across multiple disciplines
* Supplier/sub-contractor relationship management experience
* ASDEFCON and EVM process knowledge
* Ability to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Clearance to an NV1 level
