About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team within Forensic Mental Health Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services in accordance with strategic plans, principles, and standards. They will provide specialist psychological assessments, treatment, and secondary consultation services for clients of the Wilfred Lopes Centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments within a multidisciplinary team at the Wilfred Lopes Centre, supporting individuals with complex forensic mental health needs.
* Provide expert consultation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance care planning, risk management, and mental health education across the criminal justice system.
* Contribute to quality improvement and professional development initiatives, including research, training, and the promotion of a safe, rights-based approach to care for vulnerable populations.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
Desirable Criteria
* Endorsed to practice in the approved area of practice of Forensic and/or Clinical Psychology or working towards.
* Current Drivers Licence.
