The Role
We are seeking experienced Casual Retail Security Officers who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference. This position is to commence ASAP and is based at Green Hills.
You will be responsible for providing security service at Green Hills, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrated pro-active security awareness.
Role Requirements
To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
Current NSW Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
Apply First Aid Certificate & Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Conflict Resolution & De-escalation with an ability to manage aggressive & disruptive behaviour
Excellent observation skills
Incident reporting
Be able to work independently & withing a team
Customer Service experience - Being polite, helpful & approachable
Professionalism & reliability
Team work & communication
Computer literacy
Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
The ability to complete reports using various platforms
Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate
High-level problem-solving skills
Ability to respond to emergency situations
Valid work rights in Australia
Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours
Availability across 7 days/nights
Experience in retail or shopping centre security
Knowledge of CCTV systems or control room operations - desirable
Familiarity with trespass laws, shoplifting protocols - desirable
