Why the role?
As our IT team continues to expand, we’re excited to introduce newly created roles, including an Infrastructure Lead, to oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of our cloud-based infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our technology platforms, leading a high-performing team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll be at the forefront of adopting new technologies, optimising systems, and supporting firm-wide technology projects.
Who are you?
- You bring 5+ years of experience in leading infrastructure or cloud operations, with expertise in Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 administration, as well as hands-on skills in Microsoft SQL management and troubleshooting.
- You’re skilled in cybersecurity, system administration, and data integration, with hands-on experience in Fortinet networking products.
- You’re a strong leader and communicator, able to mentor and develop your team.
- You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in environments that require holistic thinking and process understanding.
What does a standard week look like?
- Deliver infrastructure operations across cloud platforms, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Oversee technical support operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of technology solutions.
- Maintain and enhance networking infrastructure, drive SaaS adoption, and oversee system administration.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of hardware and services.
- Implement and oversee security controls, support compliance and audit activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, balancing workloads and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
