Job Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a supportive team, you will be responsible for:
1. Processing medium-high volume payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
2. Maintaining and updating accurate payroll data, including data collection and entry.
3. Processing calculations including back-payments, redundancy calculations, terminations and leave
entitlements
4. Providing support and guidance to employees on payroll-related matters.
5. Collaborating and communicating with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll related queries
6. Supporting the Payroll Helpdesk as required and ensure that tickets are resolved in a timely manner.
7. Interpreting relevant Awards and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements
8. Completing project work as directed by Payroll Lead/Manager
The Successful ApplicantTo be a success in this role you will possess:
* Previous experience in a similar Payroll Officer position within a medium/large scale business
* Understanding of and experience interpreting multiple Awards/EBAs
* High level attention to detail and accuracy
* A demonstrated ability to communicate complex matters in a simplified manner
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work within a fast paced environment
