ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Drill Maintenance Supervisor at Norton Gold Fields, you are responsible for overseeing drill maintenance contractors and Norton employees. This role ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of the Open Pit drill fleets while meeting availability and cost targets, maintaining asset integrity, and driving operational efficiency.
* Contract & Compliance Management: Oversee contractors, review invoices, address KPI variances, and finalise contract claims within deadlines.
* Drill Fleet Oversight: Manage daily drill operations, ensure compliance with classified plant regulations, and maintain fleet KPI performance.
* Maintenance Planning & Reporting: Coordinate maintenance schedules, track drifter hours, and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
* Safety & Risk Management: Conduct pre-start meetings, inspections, hazard identifications, and ensure zero LTI incidents within the team.
* Stock & Cost Control: Monitor and maintain critical spare stock levels to prevent downtime and unexpected costs.
ABOUT YOU
* At least 3 years of site-based maintenance supervisory experience or similar (Essential).
* Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualified in Heavy Plant or equivalent (Essential).
* Certified or in the process of acquiring the Classified Plant Inspector or Schedule 26 appointment (Essential).
* Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class “C” Driver’s Licence (Essential).
* Previous experience with AMT Maintenance Software (Desirable).
* Experience with contractual administration (Desirable).
* Good understanding of the following machines:
* Atlas T45, D45 and L7 Blast hole Drill rigs.
