Job Role:
Our organization requires a skilled Cyber Network Specialist to design, implement and maintain their network infrastructure. This involves implementing security measures, configuring and troubleshooting network devices, developing and implementing network security functionality, and monitoring performance.
* Implement security measures to prevent and mitigate cyber threats in accordance with organizational requirements.
* Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as firewalls, routers and switches.
* Develop and implement network security functionality across networks.
* Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
* Create documentation to support the organization's networks, including architecture and as-built-as-configured documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing WAN/LAN networking, implementing security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation and segregation techniques), maintaining network security infrastructure and security solutions, providing network monitoring and reporting activities, and industry certifications or equivalents. Familiarity with operational technology environments and their unique constraints, conducting network security risk assessments, evaluating an organization's network security posture by identifying vulnerabilities, weaknesses and potential threats.
