Candidates are sought for a Legal & Business Affairs role at Sydney-based Sony Pictures Entertainment.
This position will support the Head of Legal & Business Affairs in working closely with a collaborative team of professionals within the Sony family.
As part of Sony Pictures' global television business, you'll work on premium Australian projects with a truly global distribution platform.
* The ideal candidate will review, draft, and negotiate complex agreements for television and film projects with stakeholders and platforms.
* They will also negotiate deals and agreements for cast, crew, and suppliers, script and production clearances, music licensing, insurance, and location departments.
Collaboration with international Sony colleagues is required, providing advice and support to finance and distribution teams. The role works collaboratively with the team to ensure successful project outcomes.
The Legal & Business Affairs professional will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts. They will work closely with the production team to ensure that all agreements are properly executed.
