About the Opportunity:
Nationally and internationally recognised accounting firm with one of the largest audit divisions in Brisbane. With a diverse client portfolio and continued market momentum, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Audit Associate Director/Director to step into a leadership role — with a view to equity in 12-18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diverse portfolio including listed companies, large private groups, manufacturing, mining exploration, construction, and Audit Office appointed engagements
* Genuine partnership opportunity
* Lead and manage a portfolio of listed, large private, and corporate audit clients
* Work closely with other divisions including corporate finance and tax
* Build and foster strong client relationships
* Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the audit division
* Play an active role in business development and networking initiatives
* Mentor and develop a high-performing team of audit professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* CA and ability to become an RCA
* Significant external audit experience, ideally at a Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level
* Strong technical skills across audit standards, risk management, and financial reporting
* Existing Brisbane market networks preferred, but outstanding interstate candidates will also be considered
* Natural leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams
