• Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Wagga Diocese (or willingness to obtain) and a commitment to the Catholic Faith.
• An effective classroom practitioner with a strong knowledge of the K-6 curriculum and contemporary pedagogy.
• Evidence of quality assessment practices and reflective use of data in response to student needs.
• Ability to incorporate effective Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) strategies that promote classroom engagement and foster the values of: kindness, learning, respect and resilience.
• Proven ability to implement effective teaching strategies and differentiated programs to enhance the wellbeing of a diverse range of learners including students with additional needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment with Parish, parents/carers, staff and students.
• NSW Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain
• Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category D, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
• NSW NESA Accreditation
