We're looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. As a Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and supporting the sales function with administrative and customer service duties, to help drive growth while delivering top-tier service to both prospective and existing clients.
About the Role:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across state and national levels.
* Meet sales targets and contribute to revenue growth in line with company strategy
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
* Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing their queries, complaints and liaising with the Operations team where required.
* Conduct regular client meetings and on-the-road cold calling to foster trust and new business
* Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by managing queries, complaints and service issues effectively,
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery and issue resolution
* Manage administrative sales tasks including pricing, reporting and client communications.
* Maintain documentation and support with pricing queries, account setup, and sales presentations.
* Act as a primary point of contact for customer service queries and complaints and provide relevant support to resolve any customer issues.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in business-to-business or strategic sales role, preferably in logistics or a related industry.
* Proven ability to generate sales leads, close deals and build lasting client relationships.
* Strong administrative, planning and communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative, adaptability and attention to detail.
* Confident in managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Highly developed customer service, negotiation and persuasive skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
