* Key Responsibilities Include:
* Assisting residents with daily tasks and activities, personal care, and mobility
* Working with the team to develop and deliver person-centred care plans
* Respectfully assisting residents with meals and drinks for a safe and enjoyable experience
* Promoting independence and confidence by encouraging residents to participate
* Supporting residents in making choices about their lifestyle and activities of daily living
* Fostering partnerships with residents by understanding their preferences and priorities
About You
We are seeking individuals who share our commitment to delivering exceptional care. To succeed in this role, you should possess:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care
* Experience in a personal carer role, allowing for autonomy and minimal supervision
* Strong personal and clinical care skills aligned with industry best practices
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
* Demonstrated understanding of dementia support requirements and challenging behaviors
* Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
* Knowledge of AN-ACC requirements (desirable)
