The successful candidate will design and develop dynamic live programs across the art forms and community-driven initiatives that connect audiences to a shared vision.
The role involves planning, developing, and delivering public and live events across multiple art forms, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with experience managing budgets, stakeholders, teams, and multiple concurrent projects.
A key aspect of the role is collaborating with internal teams to design, develop, and execute seasonal opening weekends, talks, and programs that enrich and expand annual exhibition seasons.
* Plan, develop, and deliver public and live events across the artforms, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
* Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and execute seasonal opening weekends, talks, and programs that enrich and expand the annual exhibition seasons.
* Lead the delivery of large-scale events, including concerts and festivals, working with teams and partners to create meaningful connections with audiences and showcase artistic vision.
* Collaborate with leadership and key staff to deliver indigenous engagement commitments, ensuring representation and voice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
* Oversee Visitor Service operations to ensure an excellent visitor experience in a safe and welcoming environment, including ticketing, retail, membership programs, and tours.
