The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help drive our Student Management Systems Transformation - a flagship initiative supporting the University's strategic goals. This isn't just a system replacement program - it's an opportunity to reinvent how students connect, engage, and succeed at University.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive the development lifecycle of digital solutions as part of the Custom Dev Team.
- Provide complex software development expertise to deliver digital solutions
- Work directly with users to understand business requirements and the end state of web applications in an Agile continuous delivery environment
- Provide guidance to senior stakeholders, managing the implications for policies or processes
- Have a strong a focus of continuous improvement and service excellence
Who You Are:
- Experienced developer who enjoys leading projects from concept to completion.
- Thrive on solving complex problems and delivering secure, scalable web applications.
- Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and translating their needs into clear technical outcomes.
- Bring strong expertise in cloud-based development, especially with platforms like Google Cloud.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and enjoy sharing what I learn with others.
- Take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices like unit testing, code reviews, and release management.
- Analytical and strategic, always looking for ways to improve productivity and deliver better outcomes.
- Enjoy mentoring and supporting others to get the most out of cloud platforms and development tools.
