Medical Science Liaison / Senior Medical Science Liaison Solid Tumour Oncology Sydney, NSW An innovative global oncology organisation is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior Medical Science Liaison to join their growing Medical Affairs team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a highly active oncology pipeline and established portfolio, engaging with leading oncologists and research centres across Australia and New Zealand. You will play a critical role in scientific exchange, KOL engagement, and supporting clinical development initiatives, while helping shape medical strategy in a rapidly evolving therapeutic area. The Role Reporting into Medical Affairs leadership, the MSL will act as the scientific expert in the field, building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and research stakeholders. The role combines deep scientific expertise with strong communication and relationship-building capabilities, supporting both marketed therapies and pipeline assets. Key responsibilities include: Execute the field medical engagement plan across the oncology portfolio Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, oncologists, and academic researchers Provide scientific exchange and education aligned with medical strategy Support advisory boards, medical education programs, and major scientific congresses Communicate key clinical trial data, publications, and emerging scientific insights Gather and communicate field insights to inform medical and clinical strategy Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, clinical development, regulatory and commercial teams Support the identification of clinical trial sites and investigators Contribute to the successful delivery of clinical research programs across Australia and New Zealand Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with industry compliance and regulatory requirements About You We are seeking a scientifically credible professional with strong communication skills and experience engaging with oncology specialists. You will bring: Advanced life science qualification (PhD, MD, PharmD ideal but not essential) Relevant experience as a Medical Science Liaison Established ability to engage and build relationships with KOLs and clinical experts Experience communicating complex scientific data to specialist audiences Understanding of the Australian healthcare environment and regulatory landscape Strong cross-functional collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel interstate as required Why This Opportunity?
