The Company
My client is a construction company based on the North Shore. With a current turnover of $110M employing 75 staff.
They deliver new build and refurbishment commercial projects ranging from $10M – $50M within the healthcare, education, industrial, residential sector. They operate within new build and refurbishment style projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading cost plans, ECI and tenders for government education, healthcare tenders up to $50M. Working alongside team of x3 experienced Estimators. You will be responsible for managing estimates from 30% documentation, understanding the drawings, identifying risks, value engineering to ensure you are providing the best price.
Required Skills
* A construction related degree with at least 5- 10 years estimating experience
* Prepare BOQ for Concrete, Structure, Reinforcement, formwork, early works packages
* Knowledge of D&C tenders within the healthcare, industrial & education sector
* Experience using Buildsoft, Cubit & Estimate One & Mud shark software
* Current market knowledge of subcontractor prices
