An exciting secondment opportunity (9 to 12 months parental leave cover) is available for a driven and versatile Business Partner! This opportunity will be supporting two distribution centres within our Primary Connect business: Erskine Park DC and Hoxton Park DC.
You will play a pivotal role in our organisation's growth and success. This is not your typical HR role; it's a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys HR generalist responsibilities while also diving into the complexities of negotiating Enterprise Agreements (EA).
You will be able to impact our business performance through your exceptional partnering ability and strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Your expertise in driving outcomes through strong relationships with business leaders will focus on building and implementing strategies in alignment with business plans.
Note that this role requires you to work on-site between the two Distribution centres.

About the Opportunity
Partnering with business leaders, your expertise will be to drive outcomes through strong relationships and to focus on building and implementing appropriate people strategies in alignment with business plans.
Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Partnering with senior stakeholders for the effective delivery of people strategies, including aligning performance, capability, engagement and talent initiatives
2. Lead and contribute to negotiations of Enterprise Agreements, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company objectives.
3. Utilise your extensive HR knowledge to provide comprehensive support in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
4. Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, handling sensitive employee relations matters with diplomacy and expertise.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
6. Drive change initiatives and support the organisation in adapting to evolving HR and ER strategies.
7. Providing actionable insights to leaders on trends in people data and providing support and coaching to act on this data
8. Build new muscles in agile organisation and ways of working to support transformation
9. Providing leadership coaching to front line managers and senior leaders, and helping to create a diverse and inclusive culture that aligns to the Woolworths Purpose, Values and Ways of Working

Please note that this role requires you to have face to face interactions with key stakeholders hence you will be required to work on site with flexibility to work from home from time to time.

You will be keen to develop your industrial relations (IR) expertise as well as the ability to think and plan for the long term, and the capability to diagnose issues and use data/insights to influence successful outcomes.
