JiGSAW Notions is sourcing several senior architecture and technical specialist roles on a long-running Defence-cleared sovereign program based in Canberra. The seats sit at SFIA Level 5–6 and span network and systems assurance, end-to-end solution architecture, and technical design leadership for resilient, deployable ICT capability.

What we're hiring for
We have openings across four broad senior profiles. Apply to whichever fits — we'll work out the right seat with you in the first call.
Network Architecture & Assurance Roles Independent technical assessment and assurance of network solutions across deployable and fixed environments. V&V evidence strategies, residual-risk reporting, and design integrity across multiple project streams. Cisco / Juniper / multicast / IPv6 / QoS depth required. SFIA Level 5.
Systems Assurance Roles Lead the program's systems-engineering process, methods and assurance cadence. INCOSE-aligned lifecycle discipline across multiple project streams. Run technical reviews, set up V&V evidence frameworks, work to recognised Defence assurance standards. SFIA Level 5–6.
Solutions Architect Roles End-to-end solution architecture for resilient ICT capability, including deployable contexts. Zero Trust, data-centric security, mission-partner interoperability, C4ISR. The architect who joins the dots from concept through to acceptance. SFIA Level 5–6.
Technical Design Roles — Resilient Systems Lead the design of resilient, deployable ICT systems for ADF use — modular, ruggedised, transport-cased, DDIL-resilient. Tactical comms, satellite, RF, expeditionary. The design authority for what goes in the case and what goes out into the field. SFIA Level 5–6.
Who we want to hear from
You probably fit if your CV shows most of:
* Currently hold NV2 or higher AGSVA security clearance — submitted security packs aren't enough; you must already hold it
* Eligible to access Export-Controlled / ITAR ICT hardware, software and data
* 8+ years' relevant senior experience in any of: deployable communications, joint command and control, federated mission networks, gateway / cross-domain solutions, mission systems integration, C4ISR, or Defence-grade network or solution architecture
* Comfortable working inside Defence frameworks for capability lifecycle, security and assurance
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or Master in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber or related). TOGAF / INCOSE certifications, or vendor-track credentials (CCIE, JNCIE, AWS, Azure) an advantage
* Track record of operating credibly as a technical authority — solution architect, design authority, lead specialist, or principal assurance role
We're particularly interested in talking to people with:
* DevSecOps experience inside an accredited environment with continuous authority to operate
* Tactical data-link or coalition / mission-partner exposure
* Hands-on with deployable transit cases, ruggedised platforms, satellite or RF connectivity
* Verification & validation evidence packs at the accreditation / authority-to-operate interface
