We have an opening for the following roles based near Mt Isa QLD.
16 x Full Time Guest Services / Food and Beverage / Kitchen / Maintenance Attendants (as per Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020, Grade 2, Level 2).
Approximate commencement dates are August 2026. This job will run for approximately 2 years. You will work a minimum of 76 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities
* Superior food quality and presentation
* Ensure at all times drink and food is delivered to the highest standard
* Day-to-day upkeep of bar and food facilities to meet the required standards
* Work with park managers/chef for all bar supply orders
* Cleaning resort accommodation and facilities in accordance with the required cleaning standards, policies and procedures
* Use designated chemicals and cleaning products for each task
* Observe and report maintenance items
* Conduct a periodic 'deep clean' of the room
* Completing food production and cleaning tasks as directed
* Working with all kitchen employees to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the kitchen including cleaning cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant
* Ensuring the standard and quality of food production is maintained at a high standard
* Assisting employees who are cooking, assembles and prepares ingredients for cooking; and performs general pantry duties
* May be required to supervise other kitchen employees
* Keeping areas clean and tidy
* Weeding and watering
* Trimming or mowing surrounds or similar areas with hand implements
* Assisting in maintenance and construction
Requirements
* Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required
* Must perform such additional duties and responsibilities as required from time to time providing they are within your skills, training, education and experience
* Potential for upskill and training provided
* Must be on a valid working visa (no requirement to be Australian citizen)
