Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced driver to join our dedicated team operating a 3‐tonne van for multi‐drop deliveries across the Perth metro area. A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is essential, as you may be required to drive HR vehicles when needed. Key Responsibilities
* Daily multi‐pickups & deliveries of pallets, cartons and other freight items, ensuring timely drop‐offs at depots for various clients.
* Operate a 3‐tonne van or heavy rigid vehicle safely and organised, adhering to all road safety regulations.
* Deliver consignments correctly and accurately, ensuring no damage or loss occurs.
* Complete assigned jobs within the time allocated, focusing on daily delivery and collection schedules.
* Manage and prioritise jobs in a dynamic, ad‐hoc booking system where delivery needs can change unexpectedly.
* Adjust routes and schedules to accommodate priority jobs that arise.
* Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
Requirements
* Valid Heavy Rigid Driver's Licence (WA).
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience operating a Heavy Rigid truck.
* Competency in load restraint.
* High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desirable).
* Familiarity with the Perth metro area.
* Basic mechanical knowledge for performing minor vehicle maintenance (desirable).
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
* Full Australian work rights.
* National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months from start date).
* Successful completion of pre‐employment requirements, including medical, drug & alcohol screening and driving assessment.
