This full time opportunity will teach you the skills and knowledge required to design, construct, install and repair all types of interior blinds and shades, shutters and exterior awnings, security screens and grilles using a range of tools (hand and power), materials, fixtures and fittings for residential and commercial premises, in and around Gympie.
You will be able to, or learn to run a work site quickly and efficiently. You will not need a break every 10 minutes. You will not need a day off because you are not “feeling it”. You will not be hung over when you come to work. You will NOT bring drugs or alcohol to work. You will be on time every time. You will be kind, courteous and considerate to all other staff at all times.

You will need to be fairly solid as some heavy lifting is involved.
It is hard and at times physical work, especially when the outside awnings or the bigger Security Doors are being installed. It is very rewarding however, when you see the finished product up on or in someone\'s home and the customers are thrilled with your good work.
You will need to be able to use power tools and work off ladders and scaffold at times.
You will need a good understanding of mathematics and be able to spell properly, as paperwork is involved at times.
A clean drivers licence is a must.
You will be working 38 hours per week (Mon - Fri) plus paid overtime if necessary.
2 month casual trial employment followed by a 12 month full time probation period.
