As our Recruitment Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving Ready Resources' talent acquisition strategy while also contributing to key HR initiatives.
Your primary focus will be on end-to-end recruitment and building strong talent pipelines to support business growth.
In addition, you will support HR compliance, employee engagement, and workplace culture — ensuring that Ready Resources continues to attract and retain the best people in the mining and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle – advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
Develop proactive candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, and direct sourcing.
Partner with managers to forecast labour requirements and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
Enhance employer branding and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Monitor recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention) and recommend improvements.
HR Support
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and processes.
Support compliance with Australian workplace legislation and enterprise agreements.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
Assist with training and development coordination to support workforce capability.
Contribute to initiatives that foster a positive and fair workplace culture.
What We're Looking For
Solid experience in recruitment within mining, resources, or heavy industry environments.
Proven success in high-volume recruitment and proactive sourcing strategies.
Knowledge of Australian workplace laws, compliance, and enterprise agreements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
High-level organisational and systems skills
To Be Successful, You'll Need
Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.
Previous mining / resources recruitment experience – essential.
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
